The worst Fleet website - ever.

Fleet MAD - run by that Fleet hater , Paul Harrison, who barely has a decent word to say about anything Fleet, yet lies on his site by stating it is the best unnofficial site. Isn't his comment libellous to both Whitebucket and MikeFleet, both of whom run far superior Fleet sites."

If anyone was in doubt, here is the short report about the FGR game.

"Gravesend travelled to Forest Green Rovers for a Conference fixture this evening and scraped out a 0-0 draw.

 

"These are the sort of teams we should beat as a full time club looking for a play off place" the Gravesend followers said pre match. A handful of Gravesend fans made thier way to The Lawn in a minibus and were part of a very poor official attendance of 582 who witnessed this game.

 

To their merit Gravesend defended well, stifling the home side on every occasion and when they did stray into Forest Greens half they could well have snatched something more positive from this encounter. A point will not be well received by either club. Gravesend maintain their mid table position while Forest Green will remain above the struggling teams near the foot of the table."

 

2 valid questions would be, did any of those travelling to FGR actually get interviewed by Harrison, or was that an "exclusive" made up by him?

Did Harrison actually go to the game?

 

 

Seems like the utterings of a man with a vendetta against Fleet, and contains little of interest or fact.

 

Should we all boycott it?

I was aware of its existence - my comment was merely to imply that I already to choose not to visit it.

 

In one reply to an email I sent him ages ago,

he claims he still runs it as it proves profitable.

 

I suggest it gets boycotted so his visitor numbers decline.

Just checked out his "forum" looks like it is now infested with locusts such as used to come on here - I might even try a virus on it one day!!

I only read it to see what new lies, misquotes and misinformation Harrison can badmouth Fleet with next. He always gives a balanced view - he has a massive chip on BOTH shoulders.

The thing is he actually appears to enjoy dissing Fleet.

To be fair, chip on the shoulder or not, the above piece is largely factually correct - besides his claim that the point wasn't well-received by us, when in reality a point from an away game at FGR isn't so bad.
