Northwood FC. The MFC fixtures page even says so too so don't know why the preview said different. It IS Northwood. Wealdstone USED to share with Edgware and the White Lion Ground.

Just seen some pictures of the ground and it looks awful to say the least with one stand or should i say walk way with a garden fence round the outside backs on to a cemetary.

The touchlines get waterlogged VERY easily as there is a mound running just inside the perimeter fencing and all the rain runs down on to the touchline. If you are lucky you may see the linesman end up on his ass!

The picture says it all. The home crowd were very hostile towards the gate players. I was stood at the stones end second half and they were really having a go at Darren Behcet, and shouted abuse at Hasim Deen when he went off. Ground was a tip with graffitti everywhere and the pitch was one of the worst I have seen.

Always have been proud of C.K. Seems a very genuine person, although I have to say I have never met him, but I have nothing but respect for the guy.

We've had afew and he is best of a bad bunch, Thought your 4 was the player who kept you in the game early on.

 

No one on here has mentioned the disallowed goal when your keeper, called and got nowhere near the ball, with a fair challange on him.

 

Thought you were physical and battled for every ball and very proffesional in dictating the pace of the game.

 

Hocktons free kick was quality but speaking to some fans and staff, they felt our keeper was at fault as he moved forward prior to the kick.

I thought you were unlucky not to score. I think the reason why we have not mentioned your dissalowed goal is because we did not really see much as we had the sun in our eyes and a lot of players were in the way. I thought that the ref gave it for offside first. Behcet is not a cheat he is a quality keeper and i think he is one of the best keepers playing in this league apart from his kicking which needs work on.

It was from a corner and it should have counted, but there you go. I mean he didn't even kick him in the chest.

 

Had a chat with CK and reminded him of the double penalty miss, when he played for us.

 

Had a chat with a couple of your lads in the bar at half time and we agreed it was a false score line. I reckon you had 8-10 chances missed a sitter and one off the line. We had 1 ruled out hit the bar and post and 3-4 good chances.

 

But we got what we deserved F all
