MK Dons Ticket Info

BFR

Recommended Posts

I sent an email to MK Dons earlier today to ask how much it will cost to get in for the Berks and Bucks cup game next week. I was told the following information

£6 for adults, £3 for concession/students and £1 for juniors

Very reasonable I think.

I also asked about bars at the stadium to which I was told 'the club bar is for home supporters only'

I wonder if they expect thousands to turn up for this county cup game then?

I'll get directions up here in due course and see if I can find any pubs in the nearby area for us 'away supporters' to use

I don't want to be like the pub bore, but if you must go to Franchise FC, spend as little as possible at their ground.

Whatever you think about AFC, their supporters were well and truely stiched up by the FA giving the move to Milton Keynes the go ahead (and close another non league team in the process, Milton Keynes City who couldn't find any sponsorship thanks to the move).

I wouldn't wish what happened to them on my worst enemy, and not going to the game/giving them our cash sticks two fingers up to franchise.

I found the following information on the MK Dons Supporters Association website, which I hope they won't mind me reproducing on here (if so, let me know and it will be replaced by a link to your site)

Quote:

Parking

Within a 10 minute walk of the stadium there are over 2,000 pay-and-display spaces. The car parks are to your left as you approach the ground from the North Grafton Roundabout. Costs on average aboy £0.70. Do not park directly outside the stadium as there is a £5 charge per day. The Centre:MK shopping centre also has plenty of spaces, and is around a 15 minute walk from the stadium. There is also a multi-storey adjacent to the train station.

Food & Pubs

There are 4 burger bars located in the stadium that sell a selection of hot and cold drinks, burgers and hot dogs. There is a Burger King and a McDonalds next to the stadium. A couple of the local pubs also do a good selection of food on match days.

Chicago Rock, Elder Gate, Central Milton Keynes- idea for those travelling by train as it is situated above the bus station. This building is located straight across the open square in front of the station.

Wetherspoons, Midsummer Boulevard, Central Milton Keynes - a popular venue, it is located behind the Abbey Head Office (nearest cash point is located at these offices).

Secklow 100 (a Wetherspoons), Midsummer Boulevard, Central Milton Keynes - just a little further up from Weatherspoons - across the traffic lights and on the right.
