Worksop Town FC have to announce that admission to next Saturday's FA Trophy Quarter-final match with Boreham Wood will be £10 for adults and £5 for OAP's and Juniors. These prices have been begrudgingly increased following a request from Boreham Wood. They wanted prices as follows, £12 seating £10 standing, £9 and £7 for concessions. The two clubs have now agreed on these prices to save the matter going to the Football Association for them to make the final decision at arbitration, where the top prices could have come in. WTFC hope our loyal fans will understand they were put in a very difficult position on this matter.

Whilst I wish Wood and their fans all the best in the league and Trophy. I have to say that their management are a bunch of greedy bu**ers!!

Well done to the Wood. £7,000 prize money. If they win the Semifinal they get £16,000. But they are already heading into fixture congestion.

 

Let's hope they get the semi-final on the 25th March arather than the 18th March. I reckon it might be better for us if they reorganised the Ilford match rather than Corby.

Correct - 2 legs - 18th and 25th March.

Wood also have an away game on Tues 14th, which if they have any sense with a semi final on the saturday, they will try to get called off.

Don't think any of this will stop them walking the League, however, it will give Corby another home game to arrange, which will be mid-week, so that "may assist" Town.

At the end of the day we have to get maximum points, or somewhere near.
