Problem looming?

Great news! Gareth McCleary is available to play on Saturday against Chelmsford.

 

On ability etc. he would be everyones automatic choice to start the game on Saturday.

 

Assuming everyones fit would you put Gareth in the starting eleven and if so who would you drop or rest?

 

Perhaps it would be the ideal opportunity to give Hodgey a rest?

maybe it would be a good idea to rest hodgey, but mccleary doesnt have the same influence as hodgey. i would be tempted to put mccleary on the bench and bring him on later in the game.

G comes straight back into the team in my opinion. His performances before his suspension kicked in were fantastic and we could do with his pace and creativity.

 

From the team we had out on Saturday, Josais was the odd man out in terms of his position. He was playing behind Hodgey in the McCleary role and I can see him being the one to make way. Tough on him as he played very well on Saturday, but Hodgey certainly needs someone up front with him to take some of the burden off him

I agree with BFR, before G's suspension, Josias was mainly on the bench (last few games), and made a big impact when he came on each time.

 

He might be the one to lose out, even though he has played really well lately.

I'm thinking it's time to bring in a new striker after losing Josh Miller, Charlie Ide after one game and now Matt Seedel. Looking very lightweight.

Feel sorry for Josias. Was easily our best player in a 5-3-2 at the start of the season, but the players around him were not comfortable with that - so we changed to 4-4-2. Ever since that he does not seem to be nowhere near as effective.

If McCleary is available i would play him and Hodgey. Would go with a midfield of Harris, Ballard,Alexis And Carbon (but thats just what i think i know the team will be nothign like that)

That sounds good, Gareth is more dangerous with a big presence playing alongside i.e. hodgey.

The local rag confirms today that Gareth is not available tomorrow - he is playing for British Universities
