Even though the season hasnt gone to plan, I must praise Dave for his team selection on Saturday. After all the hype about Ralf Little, it was good to see that Dave kept with Will Dunlop who has been playing well. He may not be a natural left back, but is the best person we have had playing there all season.

 

Also, i know it must be dissapointing when players arent in the team or squad, but thats no excuse for storming off and not staying tho support his team mates. When your second bottom team morale is more important then ever.

its a good point u raise about being a "team" dan.

 

im not quick at openly criticising anything we do as a club or dave does as a manager. i'll just say that we dont always come across as a "team"..coach travel to away games is an example.

 

it was ironic seeing dennis at the game on saturday. an "individual" in every sense of the word, who wheeled and dealed whilst in charge at WEFC, but we always played as a "team"?

I agree.

 

Although i do feel for the player that stormed off as recently he's been very good. However up until the last month and a half he has hardly been in the starting line up week in week out so it's a bit of an odd one!

I agree 100% with Dan's sentiments, Dave could have easily bowed to pressure and picked Ralph, but by picking Will and with other selection decisions in the last two games, Dave has showed a lot of balls and its paid dividends, fully deserves all the praise.

 

I also agree about the player storming off, disappointment is 110% understandable, but storming off shows a lack of respect to his team mates, Casey, Ralph and James Edgerley would have been disappointed not to have been selected on Saturday, but all three still showed dignity.
