would like to apologise for my actions at todays game but the hand gesture to the crowd was wrong and i took it on my own back to try and put a gate shirt on his back when he was sent from the dug out. I did apologise to George and he was 110% ok after the game and so were the away supporters, once again sorry george and sorry MFC

Yea on speakin to George he has been approached before and asaulted at games before so he was within his rights to say what he said, everything was handled superbly after the game and it was just a heat of the moment thing as was his gesture. Up the gate

Borg was assaulted whilst manager at Aldershot. An ex shots player kicked straight in the nuts after a match and did him a nasty injury. He does get wound up and is one reason why Aldershot got rid of him after turned on the fans. In his defence I did speak to him when my son was mascot at Aldershot and he came across as a very nice bloke, off the pitch.

dont want to repeat myself but he was a good person and up for the occasion, its the bad press that has done him no favours and every oposing team will jump on this and fans.

Did not see the incident with Phil D but have to say that I thought Borg was out of order all afternoon, did make me laugh though when I heard a couple of Braintree fans next to me inh the first half moaning about Robin Trotts language, when I could here Borg swearing all through the match much more clearly.

We weren't brilliant but the spoiling tactics of your side which is part of football contributed to that. I praised the committment which was excellent. We weren't at our best today either.
