a very committted barkingside surprisingly ran up a 4-1 winning scoreline against what must be said was a very lacklustre and short on ideas ramblers outfit.

 

usual 'side' antics from the bench with some justification following a thrice taken thrice saved penalty finally converted from the rebound to draw level after 'side' had deservedly taken the lead.

 

all one way traffic after that as barkingside deservedly ran out comfortable winners and booked their final place against the mighty urchins on easter saturday at burnham...

I think the Burnham players did not take the game seriously.A un -named player was on the forum past 1.00am om the night before this important match.

I think that kasey should have got on...if I had been the burnham manager I'd have put all 4 outfield subs on the way his team were performing...

 

it was a strange performance from the ramblers I must say...almost like they didn't care one way or the other about the result...anyway thats footie and a good performance from barkingside...

unc i dont agree that the boys didnt care but perhaps that how it seemed. it was a cup semi. however if 8/9 of your players dont turn up on the day there's not much a manager can do.

we were extremely bad but if you take away 2 wonder strikes the game would be 1-1.

 

i will not name names, well maybe later, but its fair to say if 8/9 players didnt turn up then there were a few stinkers.
