For those of you that don't go on the ESL forum, read on:

 

I have decided to honour the roots of my beloved ETFC by making my 5000th post on the ESL forum. After all, this is where it all started.

 

In the early days Mr Happy was anonymous and forum posts were mainly to do about our matches. However, over time these forums have become much more than that. Who can forget the tussles in our second season with Basildon and in particular that rogue, Mean It Mick. In thsoe early days we all hated him but over time we have come to enjoy the banter, especially now that Mean It Mick Is Back!! Other mentions have to go to his sidekick Mick Mean It Magnussen and, of course those Romford trouble makers like Coup and Zody. Of course, last season the big tussle was with Burnham and, of course, this meant the introduction of that goalkeeping midgit legend, Bunham Number 1. Other mentions have to go to my old pal Sawbo Shauneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee and the lads at Waltham Abbey especially Pinnalce (whatever has happened to him?). Of course over the years there have been plenty of Town legends who dserve a mention, Brunob, Steph, Arky, Squadron Leader, Father Jack, Invis, Cyclops, Topgun, Old Towner, NW Pete, THe Horses Mouth, Southport, AndyETFC, Softie, Badger, Gazza, SOG to name but a few. Of course, life on these forums wouldn't be anywhere near as much fun without that wonderful young lady who has created a new form of English, namely Juniorisms. Nikki, I salute you. another mention has to go to our resident forum whinger, Lovely Stuff. Just remember, we know who you are now!!!! Finally, I have to mention that wonderful individual, Mrs Happy. without her support, I would not b e the forum legend that I am now. Even as we speak, she is on our other PC, yes we live in Middlesex and thus, unlike those from Essex are rich enough to own two computers. She is probably posting drivel about me but would I change her, of course not. After all, just check out my new avatar. It's her, honest. Well, speech over and it's back to making my usual posts. May I take this opporunity to thank anyone I haven 't mentioned for their forum support. I salute you all.

You should have seen him last night after 2 bottles of wine- He was genuinely happy. Happy by name and nature - you don't see that every day. I think his Avatar should be a leech not lunch.

Hey, watch ot Smallsy! Just coz you spent 90 % of your time on here as a lazy student, some of us do work at least 25% of the time and thus do not have the time to reach your epic number of postings (which I must say is becoming legendary). I just wnated to celebrate my joining the 5000 club.
