No, I meant next England manager, as opposed to a bloke that runs an american rugby team.

 

Right, I think it should be run by a team, not one person.

 

And one of those persons should be.............

 

 

Manchester City manager Stuart Pearce.

The bloke has such a rapport with the press and such a natrual way of dealing with press conferences, it would take a whole lot of pressure off the other (maybe 3) 'managers' in the set up.

 

If this were the case, who do you think should join him?

I agree with you Westy i do not see the need for one person to be England Manager.

We could have a selection panel of three serving managers who pick the team collectively and all have an involvement in the coaching of the team prior to matches.

I would select a team of Pearce,Alladyce and Coppell as my first panel.
