Tonight's Game

Wycombe have 2 Cup games to play today , they are away to Cheltenham Town in the 2nd Round of the LDV Trophy , and they also play the Mighty Slough in the Bucks & Berks Cup , and according to the unofficial Wycombe Website they will be fielding 4 first team players , the rest of the players will be made up from the Reserve squads , this is our best opportunity to beat Wycombe for years .

COME ON YOU REBELS

What sort of side are you expecting from us? It's not high up on our priorities and I would expect Brownie not to want to risk any of the major first team players, although there is a reserve game against Harrow tomorrow night.

Not expecting Sammy or Booty to play tonight though which will be interesting as Andrew isn't quite fully fit yet either due to a doubt on his left hamstring. Might force the situation somewhat! Alvin Bubb + 1 upfront?

If Gilkes is fit I expect he might play up there, or Spencer maybe. Also, it's probably a bonus that this match was postponed last week as if this match wasn't here we'd be playing Thame in the league tonight, a game we would have had to play a full team in. It gives us a chance to rest players in a competition which in the past has been a nice one to try and win but this season is somewhat of a distraction (at the moment).

The only other thing was that Browne said in his programme notes on Saturday that this was a good warm up match for the Harrogate Railway game. This indicates that he may play some first teamers!
