I don't know how many of you have been following the saga with them and Cambridge United, but, following a meeting today, it looks like CCFC will disband at the end of the season.

very sad but a sign of the times i suppose.im afraid there will be many more in the next few years.there are too many rules and restrictions put on lower league clubs they simply cannot cope with the financial problems these rules impose

Will this mean that only 1 team gets relgated ffom the Conference South so making the $th relegation spot now meaningless.

 

I cannot see the Conference reducing there present by more than they have to.

Its a crying shame whatever the reason. All my best wishes go to the fans on this.Maybe there is still hope for them SOMEWHERE!

It seems that after 98 years of building up our club to the level we have this season is being sacrificed without any consultation with the fans or Shareholders. City cannot play NS football at Milton Road next season, and unless a miracle happens, Gary and the team will depart. Having created the best team and manager for 40 years it has all been for nothing. As planned. The fanbase is expanding but all these youngsters who want a bright future are going to be let down. Supporting CCFC at Ridgeons Premier League level at United is not attractive for most of the City fanbase, and the interest will disappear.

It is very sad to see, my sympathy goes to all involed with CCFC. It shows how lucky Margate are that they are still going when we should have been liquidated 3 years ago. You never know CCFC may get the luck we had. The meaning Lightening never strikes twice is incorrect so you never know.
