had a nightmare last night, went to arsenal v spurs with my mum and the b*stards beat us at highbury, thousands of fans protested because of the team that played and i ran on to the pitch and then to directors box and kicked off with none other than victor meldrew(arsenal chairman apparantly) he re assured me it was because the new stadium was being built and henry wouldn't be sold

then i lost my mum on the way home to get a lift with my dad,the last thing i remember before waking up was my mum being eaten by cannibals from the lane, sick feckers

Agreed. That is what they did. Selling their old training ground enabled them to cancel debts, cause the old training ground was prime building land. Similar to Burnham's Stadium in fact! (Obviously not worth as much... but.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />)

ESU, you have one hell of a f*cked up dream!

further reading.

if you're a total anorak like myself, this is very interesting.

spurs.

4% increase in matchday attendance and revenue to £21.1m, broadcasting £25.5m commercial - £24m thanks to LG and puma deal.

deloitte predict revenue will further increase if spurs qualify for europe or relocate.

arsenal hit by crashing out of europe early, but will make shitloads from the new stadium. £33.8m

what it means is that this season represents spurs last chance of closing the gap. if they fail to beat us into that 4th spot, the revenue generated from the new stadium will create a larger and larger divide and will mean that arsenal's domination of spurs would be eternal.

lets hope they don't chuck their lead away...

I must lay off these drugs....

Coup surely our WW1 debt would of been 20 soverigns and 3 of those white fivers. Which would of had the buying power of 10 destroyers and could fully equip 3,000,000 men. (only for Haig to kill them off in a morning) So our debt to the U.S.A. would now be worth 37p.

I can't see that nice Mr Blair getting us embroiled in an unjust situation with a load of rag heads for such a small debt.
