Another good performance from the reserves on what was a very cut up pitch saw then pick up another three points.

Two second half stirkes from Matt Baker cancelled out the first half goal form Berkhamsted.

Ralf Little was included in the side in order to regain fitness following his illness as was Jon Case after only playing a few minutes the night before.

Two new players were introduced to the starting line up. Daniel Sacha, who showed good composure on and off the ball, and Lee Ebdon.

Team:- Gardner, Elford, Sanford, Turner, Little, Blatchford, Maqsood, Sacha (A Spellman 83), J Case, Baker, Ebdon (N'Dour 46). Sub Not Used:- Davies.

Daniel Sacha was with us at the beginning of the season. A nice small compact Polish (The country not the furniture stuff) who has a great free kick and good hard tackle. A lot of Gate fans were sorry to see him go. If he signs for you I hpoe he is succesfull.

Apart from a terrible first 20 minutes where WEFC were all over the place and conceded a goal after only 3 minutes; it was a decent performance. Some good football was played in the second half especially considering the conditions. Berkhamsted included a number of first team players but didn't really give Iain Gardiner any thing to deal with. Two good goals from Matt Baker; solid back four; and 18 year old Daniel Blatchford is beginning to shine at this level. Definitely, one for next season. Hendon away next week.

Apparently, it's drummed into them all the time about pressing the ball and pressurising the opposition. Got half a dozen good young players in there who listen to the managers and who all seem eager to improve and progress.

praise must be directed at both the ressi managers and their ever changing squad, they appear to have a basis of a good team {including team spirit}since they never seem to field the same team twice with 1st team squad helping out and new untried players being brought in. One day this lot will hammer another side when they all gell together from the off, bearing in mind they train on mondays and play on Wed not much time to remember names without remembering moves. they are sitting 5th played 10 w6 L4 goals 19f 13a 18pts.

There are now three or four players knocking on first team if not this year then next season so the club is in good hands for the future
