Near Waitrose, on Verulamium Estate . I am hoping to move soon nearer to the staion as I work in London and the bus service is sh*te from here - also be nearer to the Mecca!

Whoa, not logged on for a few days - there's a few questions to answer. This is like an interegation!

 

I call it the Verulamium Estate as that is what the fool from Frosts estate agents called it. However I have also had it mentioned as the Verulam Estate and also, a bit more unflatteringly, as the Waitrose Estate. Call it any of the 3 and the taxi drivers get the right place - each to their own really.

 

Used to go down to City loads in my teens - normally just for second halves when they let us in for free as we could not afford it! Then moved to Watford so did not come back for football - only drinking. Been going to Watford and had a season ticket there for a few years. Now back in S/A and looking for a ways to spend a saturday arvo. Found this site so here I am. Hope that clears everything up chaps.

Where did you sit at the Vic mate?

Rookery mostly - was good when the bar was open out the back. We sat near the front - near L, I am sure you know who I mean. Before that in the good old days, the vic end when it was unreserved - those were the days.

 

May get a mini season ticket to the end of the season - they called me about it the other day. Should be a decent run in. Playoffs are pretty much a cert now........
