Hereford United -vs- Canvey Island

Hello All,

 

I am a exile Hereford United fan who runs a Hereford United website, i like to add Match Previews to my website before each game.

 

However for me to do this, i am going to need your help. I need a Canvey Island fan to write down in there opinion the following information :-

 

1, Your predicted formation

2, Your predicted starting line up (please use first names aswell as last names)

3, Who will be your captain for the day

Oh come on please, this is for my website nothing to do with Hereford United Football Club itself. I am a 16 year old Hereford United fan who is trying to make a Match Preview.

 

If i cannot get the following information then i wrecks my whole Match Preview and means the website will not be updated.

Going home from work now mate - if this hasn't been done properly by somebody else when I log on in the morning, I'll do it for you no probs.

 

Will you be at the game Saturday?

 

I can remember bunking off school in 72 or 73 to go to West Ham to see Hereford play midweek at Upton Park - Dudley Tyler, Billy Meadows, Fred Potter, Colin Addison, Ronnie Radford etc. in the FA Cup game that had to be played midweek due to the 3 day week power shortage. Geoff Hurst hit a lesser celebrated hat trick than he did in 66 to knock your boys out after they had turned Newcastle over the round previously. Also remember being there and Hereford getting a draw a couple of years later at Upton Park in another FA Cup match 1-1 with the late, great Bobby Moore being carried off on a stretcher in his last ever 1st team game for the Hammers. Good memories - even though I am a Spurs fan, LOL...

 

As I say, I am going home from work now but if nobody else has done this for you by morning, I'll be happy to give you the info you require.

I am so glad somebody will be doing this because as i say with-out this it means i am unable to produce a Match Preview.

 

I wont be at the game mate no <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> I live in Stratford Upon Avon and unfortunatly for me iam the only one in my family who supports Hereford United. The rest all follow Wolves.

 

RonnieRadford what a legend...whilst i will never be able to say i went to see him, i still go onto the Official Website and watch te famous goal against Newcastle in 1972 <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Should imagine they will line up 4-4-2.

As you can see, star goalscorer Lee Boylan is still out after sustaining a face injury after colliding with a goal post in the FA Trophy match v Kingstonian 2 months ago now.

You never really can predict a Canvey starting line up these days it seems but I think it may look something like this follwing the defeat at Southport last week.

Not neccesarily the side I would pick but I think it will not be too disimilar to that.

I think Hereford will win as they will probably be too strong for Canvey but will be more than delighted to be proved wrong there.

Cannot understand why Hereford have been out of the Football League for so long now as every year they look like they are more than equiped to go up but never quite manage promotion.

Please send your link to your site as I would be most interested in having a look myself.

By the way, I really admire you not going down the Wolves line, very easy to follow a big club but in my opinion, non league fans are true fans - unlike all those who wander round in the shirts professing to follow Arsenal, Man. Hello mate....thanks very much for the team that you have posted, however after Yellow Bungle said my guess is as good as anyones,

 

I did look at your recent teams and have predicted who i think will line up for Canvey Island...i hope im not to far off.

 

Nah i couldn;t choose Wolves, my Father used to be a steward at Hereford and in fact my godfather used to play for Hereford (Gary Stevens)

 

I think after that, there was only really one team could pick and that was Hereford United.

 

Result, i think we will take the win from this one, however our performances are not that consistant this season as in pevios so anything can happen to be honest.

I would be very pleased with a point from Saturday, especially after Canvey's recent run and the small matter of a 4-0 home defaet by Hereford last year.

Hello mate, yeh the website i www.hereford4you.co.nr . However we seem to be having some problems with the imge at the moment in that they will not load :-(

 

Im not really a programme collector mate...i never really get to Hereford United games so i probably only get around 4 programmes a season lol....
