having read with interest most of the posts here it never ceases to amaze me - when you guys win it gets described as one of the most amazing football spectacles since the 1970 world cup final. BUT when you lose the referee is always incompetent, both lino's must be related to the other team in some way. the whole world is against you blah blah blah -

you win 5-0 and the forwards are great - you lose 1-0 or 2-1 and they should all be sacked along with the manager.

GET REAL your still second. stop bleating, but stop looking thru rose tinted glasses.

Wood will win the league - corby second - you lot probably 5th behind stamford and dartford.

Enfield FC comfortable in abut 10th.

Have I made enough posts to say that some Towners who come on here after a defeat come across as a bunch of grumpy old men (Some who hide behind their names on here)who have nothing better to do than blame the officials or certain players who they don't like.
They're the ones who do the real damage to the club & get people's backs up.

Have i accumilated enough posts to say that certain people on here have a hollier-than-thou attitude,and seem less than interested about the performances their team puts in week-in-week-out,and are either too scared to criticise or are so blinkered that they actually believe that Town fans don't deserve better than some of the performances we have seen this season,especially at home .(don't forget this is a discussion and opinion forum.If people havn't got any opinions about the games,why are they on here?)

In fact it seems that the actual 90 minutes of football each week doesn't hold as much interest to some as it does to others.I get the feeling that the peripheries that surround the club are more important to some, than the team playing great football or being successful.

I only criticise things that i feel are hindering or hampering success and the progression of this club.I also praise a lot more than some,but i offer that praise when it is deserved and earnt,not to massage ego's.

Is it not that people who come on here want the Club to improve.
Winning matches is what it is all about.
Why else do we go to games ?

Nobody is slagging anyone off - they just want the Club to continue the fantastic success it has had.

Your more than welcome to your opinion, shame you'll never put your name to it though.
If you don't think I care about the performances then you are completely wrong.
Have you ever gone & spoken to the management after a game to ask why they've done certain things, or just save it for here?.

Let me say that i am totally behing the management (and boardroom),and always have been.Both make the odd mistake,but their achievements far outweigh the nagatives.

 

So some feel that team selection by Jim can sometimes be a bit random ,and his continuing with certain players that do not seem to be performing to the satisfaction of the majority of the supporters, is sometimes difficult to understand,but his managerial abilities far outweigh these small gripes.I've backed Jim 100% through good and bad times ,and have every confidence that he can turn around this recent bad run.

Tell ya what, how about we swap places in the league and then you ALL can have a moan!!!! At this moment in time I wish we were 2nd in the league and only lost nine games. Even if the manager was "random" with team picking, theres alot of clubs in this league that would do anything to swap were you are!!! You should do what we done last season just enjoy the ride why it last's, untill it all starts again.
