I welcome all who play for Gravesend..and indeed hope they smash the ball in the net several times per week ! Nothing could please me more.

 

I was only taking the P*ss......as per normal !! No offence to anyone intended....I seem to say that a lot lately ! maybe time to take a close season !....bye bye..................................

Feed the nose...... and he will score.

 

At 38 Gary will still score regularly if you give him service.The guys touch is first class and is sheringhamesque.Don't expect him to flash past full backs but he'll bring in other players with his ability to hold the ball up.Abbo is a legend at PVR and scored 30 odd goals for us last year aged 37.

i personally thought he wouldnt be very good, but, i agree with staurt t, he scored two good goals tonight and worked reasonably well with che for a first match together, whether or not he will beat "the beast" into the first team when he returns is another matter.

Liam will need to take this opportunity to learn from watch Gary play, because he will never get such a good chance to learn from a master like this again.

It seems that we weren't Abbos first choice after being released by Grays. He presented himself at Purfleet recently, asking for £350 a week, they offered him £200. He turned their offer down.

The great man scored another cracking goal tonight . Good to see Barr score at last.

Abbott looked great, first time i had seen him last night, he held the ball up very much like wilko and won headers aswell. But i was more impressed with his skill, brilliant, flicks control and a wonderful back heel to put barr in on goal. Great Man indeed.
