Not much progress up the league table

I agree that it does not look good only moving up 1 place in the table but we are in a much much stronger position now. After all we are 12 points 1 game in hand and +20 goals in front of Maldon so I think barring us losing our last 12 games I do not think we will finish 3rd bottom. I also think we have enough of an advantage over Hendon now but I hope it does not come down to the last game of the season.

In the other leagues I think the 4th relegation spot will go to a team from the Southern League with Evesham or Gloucester City favorite for it.

Evesham have 26 points form 30games and have some hard games coming up.

I will confidently say that The relegation issue is resinding and hopefully we will finish about 15th. However we are going to win all our remaing game thus be in the playoffs.

I agree, we have put ourselves in an excellent position now. There is now only 5 points seperating us and Folkstone who are in 11th place. We must not let it slip though. Each time we have been in this position this season we have not capitalised on it and dropped further away. I think Saturday will be an indication on how far we have come this season. The team will be on a high and Hocktons confidence should have rocketed Saturday and I think he will be a real danger.

Better print & bring up some more posters for games against Wimbledon & Windsor & Eton then on Saturday! Can be picked up in the usual place in clubhouse. Please get them put up in as many shops, cars etc that you can

Funnily enough sometimes a relegation battle helps keep attendances up - the danger for Margate is your safe mid-table position means your league games could become a bit meaningless apart from building for next season. I often notice that a team which finishes a season strongly like you should do carries that on for the next season, especially as you are bound to make a number of signings in the close season.

And you've got four KSC wins a in a row to aim for, which must be a record if three isn't already.

I don't see anything in Clive's post to warrant that reply Alex.

I hope Rams get promoted. There will be superb local interest throughout the season which will boost both clubs' attendances, not just when they play each other.

We will get a foretaste of that if both make it to the KSC final.
