It was a pleasure to see Ian Cooper yesterday. Dressed in the club suit and tie, very dapper if not in need of a press. lol

 

Ian appears throughout their programme and has become Borehamwoods favorite son. I'm pleased for him.

I said at the time that it was a big mistake to release him (i certainly don't think we have replaced him since, with anyone of equal quality)He may have had personal issues in his private life, but they didn't stop him performing at a consistantly high level for us, or it seems Boreham wood.

While I agree about the 'quality' comment, I think Ian's release was inevitable under the circumstances. We should leave it there.

 

I thought some of the stuff in the programme yesterday was a bit sycophantic, however. Nor does it explain the number of clubs other than B'Wood that Ian has played for.

 

Nor did I get the £20 he owes me!
