No, it was a mild three degrees.

 

But surely the highlight was the third Tilbury penalty - never before has a ball made a near vertical take off - don't know where you were standing, but we were still in the stand on the half way line - the ball cleared the 30 foot high netting behind the goal, and also cleared the clubhouse - then carried on at an angle of 80 degrees and cleared the fairground behind the car park behind the clubhouse.

 

Can't be at all sure of this, but it may well have hit the ball from Bowers a few weeks ago which is believed still to be in orbit.

it'll be the same on the last day of the season mate...some clubs and managers do it and some don't...we're all different but I know crossy and what he does...he was the same at ricay and wakering....mind you..they have a good team there at tilburger so who can knock it...I'd have a few quid on 'em nicking 3rd place...

 

let's just enjoy the day and the win and the first senior final for god knows how many years on a budget lower than romfords and look forward to our next visit to tilburger on the last day of the season......when all said and done they are good decent people doing their best for their club....
