another dramatic day at tilbury as the urchins went thru to the final of this comp 4-3 on penalties...

 

a match held up for 20 minutes in extra time as a tilbury player unfortunately had to go to hospital...(we all hope I am sure that he is okay) 0-0 at 90 minutes..2 goals within a minute in extra time and the drama of penalties influenced no doubt by the screaming urchin hordes behind the goal....

Their manager and his assistants were nothing short of an absolute disgrace today though. Upon scoring their equaliser, they saw fit to run over to the Urchin contingent and rub it in our faces big time.

He said 'what? so its alright for you to cheer?' Yes mate, its fine for you to cheer but as a manager, you should really know better than to act the way you did. If J'Lo had acted like that I would feel very embarassed. No chance of that though as we have a manager of integrity.

 

I only hope action is taken, though I doubt it will.

Still, we saw to it that action was already taken, dumping Tilbury out of the cup with a nice day out in Burnham to look forward to.

Difficult match, Tilbury packed the midfield and closed us down at every occassion, on a different day there may have been a few more cards and a few less players.

Two good goals from both sides and the finalists deceided by penaltys. Long cold match but worth the £6.

I will give you my two penith worth regarding the injury to the Tilbury defender, as I was right next to it.

Ricky and the defender both jumped for the ball, the defender has landed heavily and has not moved, straight away we knew it was serious, so we shouted for the ref.

I did not see any elbow and I would describe it as a 50-50 ball.

For the home support to insinuate anything more, I feel is unfounded and unjust. The attitude of the team assistant, also raises a few questions.

 

Most importantly, I hope the player is ok.

Totally agree with you Raver, the antics of their management team were a disgrace but for me they were totally overshadowed by the antics of the linesman on that side of the pitch.

 

He's a lino who we are very used to, and have seen the elvis-a-like on quite a few occasions with nothing good to say about him, but today took the biscuit, after crossy made a complete tit of himself (again!!) the linesman did nothing but smile, he was later seen chatting and laughing with cross when he should have been running the line. Where are these so called assessors when you need them?

 

What Crossy and his Tilbury management team did today could have ended very differently if someone had lost their rag with him or one of their fans it would not have surprised me, but who would have been held responsible if, say, a small child had been caught up in it all?

 

Quite frankly the man is a disgrace to his club and to the Essex Senior League.

 

Mr League Secretary, you need to sort your officials out.

Agree with all the above. The officals were a fcking disgrace. The ref totally lost control of the game and i think the lino (bench side) must had a Threesome with Crossy and his w8nker of a coach at half time by they way they were gazing into each others eyes during the 2nd half of the game!!!

 

I feel so strong about that lino, that im going to stop now before i really say what i mean about the bloke.

 

As for Crossy and his lap dog, of course enjoy the BANTER, but dont act like complete flanges. As on a different day you could of caused a riot!!!
