LS In the first half we created barely anything.

 

I think if anyone was keeping stats that you will find that BW had more possesion and the ball was in the Town Half far more than it was in the BW half.

 

We could also look at it that as we created more chances then our forwards were better than theres but the scoreline does not agree with that interpretation.

Steph.'Teams' create chances, not forwards.Forwards may have some part in the biuld up,but they are paid to put the ball in the net at the end of a move.

Always easy to criticise the officials eh,well does giving a free kick excuse not being able to defend against it and also as for all teams i'm sure decisions even themselves out over the season its just harder to take in defeat.Why not take the defeat gracefuly like most of the towners have and get back to winning ways next week <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shrug.gif" alt="" />

I said at the game that it would be won on a mistake and it was. We didn't defend well at the free kick but it was the awarding of the free kick that didn't help.

I must have had MUG written across my forehead then.

As I paid a total of £10 , £8 to get in at one turnstile and no programme and when asked a steward where else I could get a programme he showed me to another turnstile and asked me for a further £2 AND I paid it without question.

No Topgun not given up on the Bar just made a decision to go to Town game as thought it'd be a bit more lively with the giants at the top of the table slugging out.

Read the write up on the PBTFC web site and wished I'd gone there now as it seemed I missed a good game.

Fair enough. It's just what I said is the sort of thing the TV pundits say about Chelsea or Brazil. Their 4 would stick atoeout, happen to just barely touch the ball and one of their players would get it. So, it appears to be luck, but it's about how quick their players react. Therefore, you make your own luck....
