Two superb goals today. Margate desrved to win, the only sad points were Billy being sent off and Danny for getting booked for celebrating too much. Ref made some strange decisions. JK got booked again!! Great atmosphere, fantastic vocal support from the travelling fans. A Conference game and crowd but it's the Ryman Premier!!

Just got back from the game and we we were fantastic today. I think that the reason the commentators spoke only of AFC in the first half was because in the first 20 minutes they were al over us. Then really against the run of play a brilliant run by Bertie resulted in cross in to thne area which was brilliantly headed in by Hockton. we came back into the game a bit more after that but then the equaliser. First half pretty much AFC however. Second half was much better however and I don't what CK said to them but they came out with a real passion and played excellent football. We then got the second goal which was well deserved and another excellent goal by Hockton. There were still the odd moments of madness but we were the better team in the second half. Bechet had a great second half and the defence remained solid. There was about 150 gate supporters there and the singing from the Choir was non stop making an excellent atmosphere and I think outsung the 2500 AFC supporters. There were certainly some glum faces leaving at the end of the game. Brayley was all over them as usual Edwards was solid and Hocktons goals as good as you'll see all season. But every player did their bit today and we really do look a decent team now. Braintree next week and I think we are capable of beating any team in this league now. A Fantastic day out today and first class support.
