Some ideas for the shop

Just been looking on the AFC Wimbledon site and they sell some really good stuff, is it possible that we could do some like that.

Training gear has always been available.

 

The other stuff boils down to the numbers involved and how many you would have to buy.

 

Do you know 99 other people who would buy a baby suit for example?

 

Please remember that AFC have a much larger fanbase than us both domestically and abroad.

A-Z Sports also hold a stock of selected items.

 

The shop is due to go online as part of the Trust website rewrite.

Have you looked at online sales of the programmes. May be a big task to database them all , but collectors will pay via ebay and the like.

 

Also , have you had any valued or do they all sell fo the same price.

Not a bad idea, I see they have stopped sponsoring Newport now. and are top lads to boot

 

Could spread the Fleet word to the youngsters.

None of our programmes are worth very much.

 

Gravesend v Dover 92-93 is hardly in demand.

 

Anything we get that looks worth money is valued independently and put on ebay already.

if they are tiresome stop listening to it. It then becomes less tiresome.

To be honest never purchased or heard much of them, but have bumped into them a few times at events and they are lovely kids albeit welsh, just dont believe the hype.

Strangely enough to carry on the GLC/Fleet connection, on the last occassion we were in each others company we were all guests on a low budget Sky programme, and my call up was from the son and heir of a former Fleet director. Whom stormed off when the Fleet over 40's misbehaved while the choirboys of the GLC looked on ....

GLC- I am old enough to remember Horace Cutler, now that is tiresome.

 

 

 

 

Up the Fleet we all knows it
