We've had a couple of instances lately of clubs not publishing anything like enough programmes to meet the demand of visiting Romford supporters. The clubs in question only produce a photocopied edition, so why not do a few more when you know that your visitors will be bringing more than the usual number of supporters with them? At the end of the day, spending another half an hour or so at the photocopier will result in extra revenue for your club. Have Enfield Town had similar problems?

We certainly have had a few problems regarding programmes at opponents (not Romford though) grounds. I agree, a few more printed would result in more cash for the home club.

 

There must be more sad individuals than us two missing programmes for games they've attended.

With due deference to Mr. Oliver's valuable contribution, back to the original thread - Southend Manor printed a whole 25 progs for Romford's visit last Saturday!

No there wasn't! It's just that some of them were invisible. If you were really the Invisible Man you would have seen them. This just goes to prove that you don't exist!

There were plenty of burgers. They were just frozen and the guy in charge didn't want to risk cooking more than one at a time, despite the length of the queue.

Well, strictly speaking I should have said there was a shortage of cooked burgers. Yes, there appeared to be ample supply of raw burger meat in readiness in the kitchen, but as Tom says, the bloke insisted on cooking them in series, not in parallel.

 

Therefore there was a shortage of COOKED and edible burgers, which is what I meant, so there.

even ilford print more than 25 programmes. It is ridiculous.

 

I've got a ilford programme from a match against Bishops stortford at wembley. the FA amateur cup i think. cant remember the year though, ill have to check.

Couldn't agree more Matthew, 2 and one half programmes per supporter does sound excessive.
