Points to aim for

The Gaaaate have 14 games left they equate to 42 points though i would love to win them all lets say we aim for 10 wins 2 draws and 2 losses, total of 32 points that would leave the boys on 63 in total. If we get the midfielders CK wants and the important guys also stay relatively injury free then i believe it is feasible. What do you out there think?. Forgot and win the KSC. upwards and onwards to division 2.

I think it is going to be difficult to win 10 games as we still have to play Wimbledon home and away, Worthing, Walton & Hersham, Braintree and Billericay. However we can win our last 3 games of the season against Folkestone, Leyton and Folkestone. I am going to remain optimistic and i think we will pick up 27 points between now and the end of the season.

Looking at the remaining games I think 21 points is about what we'll get (5 wins, 6 draws and 3 defeats).

Wins - Wealdstone (away), Wimbledon (home), Windsor (home), Heybridge (home), Hendon (home).

Draws - Wimbledon (away), Chelmsford (away), Walton (home), Leyton (away), Folkestone (away), Worthing (home).

Losses - Braintree (home), Billericay (away), Hampton (away).

Need to get 50 points as usual to be safe imo.

46 would be too close to call i think.

However as BB says, would should be aiming to get all 42 points available .

If we were to get 38 more points, and thus a total of 69 points we would be in play offs i reckon.

Never say never

I have seen nothing to suggest there is much between any of the teams in this league (except for the extremes, like Redbridge/Maldon and Braintree). Therefore, I don't see why we couldn't win ALL of our remaining games. However, I am realistic - we will win enough to stay out of relegation trouble, I have no doubts about that. Onwards and upwards!

Oh how I love it, the talk of the play offs, this is possible but unlikely, but it would be bloody brilliant. I think that Chris has now got the backbone of a good team and this is now rubbing off on the other players. Oh and I almost forgot the Margate choir who, with their singing and beating, we push the players on further

UP THE GATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
