I think we all agree that the pitch is in pretty good shape for time of year, and all credit to Ray.

 

I do wonder if there is a bit of deserved luck attached however, as whilst admittedly often 200 miles away, i can't remember a home game this season where it rained and the pitch therefore cut up.

 

Can anyone remember a home game this season where it really rained hard during the actual match.

no we have had an unbelievably dry winter but i think they are gona dig it up again anyway

Last night was the first time it rained at a home Margate game this season and that was only a LIGHT DRIZZLE.
