Margate U/11s Match Report

Margate FC U/11s secured promotion to Division one with a 6.2 win away to Canterbury City. Margate started strongly and raced into a 3.0 lead. Canterbury rallied well and scored twice to make it 3.2 at half time. Margate then took control and scored four golas in the second half. Goalscorers for Margate were Ben Sear with a hatrick, Mitchell Knight with two and Ben Askew with one. Outstanding for Margate and Man Of The Match was goalkeeper Harry Kenneally.

Well we have played 11 and won 10 so far and have three games to go. We have to play the leaders Folkestone away in two weeks time and we are one point behind them, so wish us luck! I will keep you updated and sorry for the lack of contact recently!! Up the blues
