When reading the AFC Wimbledon programme last night how can they say that they have won all these competitions when technically they have won only 3 of them being the combined league, Ryman 1 and there local competition. The fact is MK Dons won the FA Cup in 1988 as AFC are a newly formed side. If AFC had won the FA Cup and all the leagues they have won then it should be them struggling in league 1 and it should have been MK Dons that we beat on Saturday.

What I found most amusing was the section in which a fan could design the kit for next season, with the subtitle "How would you like the Dons to be running out in the Conference South wearing a kit designed by you?" How arrogant is that! To be honest, I can't see them making the playoffs this season.

I know it was a home programme but there was a lot of bias there wasn't there. I mentioned in a previous post that there was very little on Margate and even in the managers write up there was no mention of us. The other thing was the list of who they will be playing in the Conf south next season after the league announced the play off matches. They were quite accomadating until they lost. The funniest thing that happened was at the end of the match. I was standing with Ron Hewitt and at the final whistle looked across towards the tea bar. There was an AFC fan, who was at least 50, wearing glasses in his AFC bobble hat and coat standing at the perimeter fence sticking two fingers up and shouting F**k Off at us. It was so funny that I just waved at him as he walked out of the ground not taking his eyes off me the whole time as if he was waiting for me to go after him.

I did say at the start of the season that Wimbledon might find it hard in their first season to get promotion. Aldershot took five seasons to get out of the premier division so crowds and money isn't everything. I hope they stay down, A. because they are arrogant B. because we will get a good gate and C. we can give them another stuffing away!!!

To be fair to AFC, I sat amongst their supporters on Saturday, most of which had supported the 'old' Wimbledon. They were a bit arrogant to start with, but they said well done you deserved to win at the end.

Their expectations are too high; they were giving their own players some real stick at times, even when they were playing well.

Talking of arrogance, we are up against the so-called 'champions elect' on Saturday. Won't it be great to give them a hammering?

Talking of gates, AFCW and Ramsgate home and away next season should be real money spinners. Hope Dover go up too, but they seem to be in reverse at the moment. Dryden out for the season? Glad he didn't come our way!
