in answer to the question Ben Lowes is Mitchells brother who currently captains Essex, and has just gained his first cap for them (10 games), he joined canvey from Southend Academy last year. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/affig.gif" alt="" />

any mention about being bottom of the table in their weak section? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />having 8 players selected for the rep side? is it down to the fact that your youth officer Bernie blunt was the u'16 rep county rep side manager for many years?difficult to explain the selection criterion...is it the same with the 16's where thurrock has 6 players selected and hornchurch 4.we played them 3 times ,beat them all,6 players playing regurarly for the first team on saturday,never heard a dickey bird <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> when i was at great wakering many moons ago with the 16s we had a few regulars in the rep side and bernie was there as youth officer.....IT'S ALL WHO YOU KNOW AND NOT WHAT YOU KNOW... meditate people medidate... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

Do you feel better after that, what a sad man you are. If you have an axe to grind about selection take it up with the people who do the selecting.

Obviously you did'nt realise that canvey have 6 games over most team in the league in their apparent "weak" section. Also they are in two semi finals which strangely enough is the same under 16 team of last season who won two cups, london and chairmans, and were also leading the league all year round to lose only 3 games and finish 3. On this you should realise that all their players are still 16/17 and can end up 3 yet again. Should you also wish to check that they were on tour last year in Italy, only to lose one game, which was the final, out of ten. "suppose thats another weak section". Regarding Mr.Blunt was not aware that he was or is on the selection committee for Essex Schools of which 3 of the Island boys represent regularly and are in the 1st XI. Lowes, Mumford, Stoker. i'd like to ask what connection has Mr.Blunt with Canvey Island? Check your records and you will find Lowes selected whilst at Southend, Stoker whilst at Dagenham and Redbridge, Parker whilst at Waltham Abbey at only 15!! The striker Reynolds was a profilic goalscoring machine playing in last years U/18s league at 15 scoring 31 goals in total 16 of them in this league. My apologies if have upset anyone waqs merely supplying information. So which side are you saying Bignall would not feature in??? If it's Hullbridge the Canvey Boys pummeled them twice last year.

and what you expect to do having already lost half of your games(4 out of 8)and nine points behind fifth placed gwr with 4 games in hand on them and conceded 25 goals in 8 games played already.yeah stoker and parker strangely enough were in bernie rep side and not playing for your lot last year,funny innit?billy bignall couldn't kick a ball at sufc and was one of the boys we should have released at 14 but strange things happened.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />regarding hullbridge you wouldn't stand a chance with our lot of 16s(yeah,read it sixteen <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
