I've just had a look on the FA web site, and DJ is up for player of the FA Cup 4th round, and is currently in the lead.

It also seems DJ Campbell could be off to Birmingham for 500k if Bruce gets his way

Has now apprently signed for Birmingham for £500,000 plus extras based on appearences etc.

good luck to the lad, thats all i can say. from non-league to premiership in 12 months, every football player's dream, and he's got his second chance at it, and think he could do well!

I honestly hope Yeading get something out of this deal. I'd heard they still haven't got much, if anything, from Brentford, so this will come as a boost to them.

 

Quite surprised Birmingham have moved in for him, as he's not even been at League One level for that long (just read he's played 28 professional games) and indeed Martin Allen was talking about still preparing him properly for professional football. Good luck to him though. Slight signs of desperation from Steve Bruce though methinks.
