So need a footie fix. Seeing as theres uncertainty on which team will be fielded on Monday evening , where cna I get my local footie fix on Saturday.

Gills and Charlton Away , Millwall v Sheff Weds is a possiblilty. Cant find anything on Chatham Towns site.

This would have been a prime opportunity to go to Leyton Orient where I have never been but unfortunately they are away to Torquay, we could be going there next season anyway.

Mike I don't know where you are getting you info from but Welling are away to Woking in the Trophy, this could be a possibility for me. Or maybe Crawley v Boreham Wood.

Barnet have Shrewsbury at home, which is another possibility and also from Division four Northampton v Rushden, Oxford v Rochdale or Peterborough v Cheltenham which both could just be to far.

Into Division three the mighty Brentford are at home to Walsall and Colchester at home to Bradford.

Into Division 2 Crystal Place play host to Cardiff, Luton play Hull and Millwall play Sheffield Wednesday, it's a shame Reading are away to Crewe because this is where I would have gone.

Into the Elitist League and only West Ham are at home in the London area as three London teams, Tottenham, Charlton and Chelsea along with Liverpool, play in the Capital all on the same day. With that kind of genius planning the Sky's the limit.

Would have said the Os are worth watching (ONLY TEAM IN LONDON WORTH WATCHING), but it looks like nearest game down my way is Margate v East Thurrock, or through the Blackwall tunnel to watch Leyton v AFC Wimbledon? Anyhow hope the roof has stopped leaking and you missed out on a solid display by the lads yesterday. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Well it appears it was leaking for years , we had to have ridge tiles replaced as a couple were misplaced. On removal , the whole joist had rotted.

So a 300 quid job turne dinto a 1200 quid job .

Just my luck. Had a loft load of stuff to sort as they had to leave part of the roof off on Tuesday an dthen work commitments and roof sorting trumped Cambridge/

Don't you mean Tottenham, Charlton and Chelsea along with Liverpool play the next day?

Different sport I know but I took my kids to watch the Invicta Dynamo's ice hockey team at Gillingham yesterday. Good atmosphere, good entertainment and for those of you who complain about the prices one adult and three children only cost £15:00.

I didn't understand the rules, if there were any, but enjoyed it none the less.

Hadnt thought of that. Went to Ice Hocky in Edmonton last year. Me , girlfriends son , burger each , two large cocke , seats behind the gola and tunnel where the roadrunners and opponents emerge. Excellant pre match entertainment all for $100 for the two of us that £45 to you and me.

And this was the AHL not NHL but 16,000 attended.

best bit was the 4 man brawl and the audio playing was the theme from Rocky.

May give an ice hockey game
a go next weekend.

JC and myself went down to watch Brentford Walsall. Brentford won 5-0 with Sam Sodje scoring the fourth which came across from the corner, the Brentford man at the front post knocked it on the keeper then punched it outwards streight into the face of Sodje as it then fell into the net with the scorer knowing very little about it.

Brentford sang who needs Campbell as they were 2-0 up inside the first ten. Their fans also had lots of songs that we also sing but better versions of them. I liked the way they used ei-ei-ei-o without actually slagging off some Essex team that they have no rivalry with.

Walsall are clearly not happy with their manager as they brought a "Merson out" banner.

Not a bad ground Griffin park, £13 to get in and we had the option to stand or sit.

We stood behind the goal which had a cracking atmosphere and Brenfortd really feels like a club that is going somewhere, obviously that has a lot to do with the FA Cup but as JC said that normally wears off instantly.
