This had occurred to me as well, Arky, but it's not like me to be pedantic! If I was, I would have asked how you can have a one page leaflet as, even if the reverse side is blank, it is still a page.

actually i disagree (for a change, i know!) if you had one sheet of paper in your hand, would you call it two pages? No, so why is a leaflet any different?

HAPPY - yeah i know your circumstances, but it is so easy to get drawn in and have a go, if we had more people, like yourself, who did their bit, then maybe we would have more info on the website. None of us get any reward for what we do except to see our club progress.

 

Like Gilli, I getted miffed with people who just have a go and do nuffing about it.

 

 

we can always improve, but it needs people and positive suggestions.

So why was the original comment directed at me then. As I said, I do what I can considering my family and business circumstances. I know many do more for the club but many do much less.

If a fan is good enough to turn up week in week out,pay £6 a time through the gate,buy a programme,buy 50/50's,buy golden goals,purchase items in the shop..etc..etc.Then i am very grateful to them for helping support the club.Why should i expect them to help out behind the scenes as well?

 

Everyone is gratefull to those that do help out.The club couldn't survive without them.But that doesn't mean that the ordinary fan should feel guilty for just mearly supporting the team.

One point, every member is part owner of the club & as such has more of a vested interest than someone who is not.
We've got where we are with the current support on & off the field.
How far we can/will go in the future depends on how much support the owners of the club can provide either financially or by giving up their time.
No-one should feel guilty for paying their entrance money & watching the game.
