Because this is an 'easy' way to add to the club's finances. As you should know by now, we don't have a 'sugar daddy' or a club bar to help pay for our football, so we have to exploit any other possible routes - or perhaps you would like trust membership to be raised to £50 and match entry to £20?

...Which is why I said "I CAN UNDERSTAND THE ODD BIT OF ADVERTISING" if you care to take another look at my orginal post...its posted at the start if you are still struggling.

The point I was making was why are 4 out of 5 pieces of edit are about this rather than football.

Some people really take "not winning" a bit too bad don't they.

Some people are missing the point here so let me state it clearly .

 

I am all for advertising but my point is:-

 

On the front page where Match info and upcoming Fundraising Events and Important info is covered - Why were 4/5 yes 4/5.......4/5....and one more time for anybody still not quite sure.....4 OUT OF 5 paragraphs all about Valentines Day or buying a computer?

Have to disagree slightly with you there Mr Happy - I reckon the website is there to inform/promote the CLUB. Of course, info on games is an important part of that. Our fixture list is always on the front page and although an official match report appears within a day, or so, Softie's informal report on this newsgroup usually appears sooner and gives a good idea of what happened.

26 Pages, surely it would have to be in multiples of 4?.


This had occurred to me as well, Arky, but it's not like me to be pedantic! If I was, I would have asked how you can have a one page leaflet as, even if the reverse side is blank, it is still a page.
