Played 90 minutes for Brentford in their 2-1 win over Sunderland today. This season's loan spell at Slough Town made that boy's career I tells thee!!

Good luck to him. Put in four very good performances for us and I hope he does well. Spoke to Eddie on Wednesday who said he was still hopeful of getting him back at some point, although that looks a bit more unlikely now.

Some other ex player news. Jamie Brooks made his first start of the season for Oxford yesterday. James Saulsbury has left Hayes and signed for Banbury United and Michael Bartley has left Hayes to re-join Burnham on loan.

Brooks was subbed after 33 minutes and not because of injury. Clearly not a good return for first team action for him

I don't see why Marcus. Banbury is nearer to home, in with a chance of promotion to the Connie South and probably on a bob or two more than we can offer

Yep they are very much a growing club. Seem to remember their winger Jon Gardner turning us down to sign for them pre-season as well.

 

Anyway after Saulsbury messing us about pre-season (ie going to Maidenhead, coming back to us then going to Staines) i'd rather have comitted players nomatter how good he was.

Ballard was supposed to have signed for them in the summer too before ending up with us.
