Dover monday

The Trust does represent the fans, but agree with other people that we should really hear what the club have to say on the matter.

THe Trust like the club work hard to try and encourage people to attend games at the Stonebridge Road and as I have posted before thought the Friday night venture was a great success and hopefully with a little planning can be done again.

However the Trust would not seek to write to the club on any matter, on behalf of its members, without first getting some kind of mandate to do so, individual members are of course free to write, provided that make it clear they are not representing the Trust members as a body. Although the members of the Trust Board are the face as it where of the Trust, our opinions bear no more weight than any other member.

It clearly is too late to do anything before Monday evening.

If our members feel strongly and this matter is discussed at the AGM, the Trust could then make representation to the club before next years competitions.

As Dave and others have said the rules are made by the FA and another point well made that as has been posted Dover fans may not attend the match but they will still get half the gate receipts, so perhaps would be unwilling for prices to be reduced.

It is really up to everyone in this instance to make a decision about attending or not as they would about any other game. Perhaps if the club could indicate if we will have first team players representing GNFC that may influence fans, especially as we have no game on Saturday. As we all have to pay this time,( I mean Season tickets holders as well) we are all in the same position and must make up our own minds.

Thanyou for clariyfying the process Jessica.I will bring this up at either the turst AGM or a club forum if one occurs first.

I just get a little disillusioned at times that a lot of people are spending a lot of their free time helping the club , yet this game was an ideal opportunity to bring in a reasonable crowd for a Monday night and the opportunity doesnt appear to have been taken.

I end my thoughts on this issue here

Monday is not the best ever night for football in my household. Both of my daughters have swimming lessons between 6 and 7.30. A league game I could get away with, a KSC game against "lowly" Dover, with us probably fielding a less than full strength side in front of a 300 crowd is stretching our limited budget beyond the limit.

Will listen to reports on RK.

Whatever team we play the price should be £8.00 for adults but £5.00 if they are bringing a child.

Which bit of the word required don't you understand?

We have this same old arguement every year, so why don't you just read back and somewhere you will find the appropriate regulation from the playing conditions of the KSC.

If we were allowed to charge less then we would, but we can't so we won't (unless the Kent FA have a change of heart)

Thats the part of the word "required" that I don't understand. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Sometimes this message board is like being at school with the patronising comments, either way glad to see £8.00 for Monday night. Looks like some comments were taken onboard. So the major sporting fixtures as follows:

6 Nations Saturday

Chels v Mickey Mousers Sunday

Superbowl Sunday/Monday

KSC on Monday
