A new striker for ETFC.

Town's new signing was at the game today. Jermaine Defoe, formally of Tottenham Hotspur FC, came along to meet up with his new colleagues and fans. It is understood that Jim Chandler put in a seven day approach a week ago ad Jermaine was delighted that the only club playing at senior FA level to have won a trophy in every season of their existance, wanted his services. Jermaine was clearly thrilled to have his photo taken with Town's top fan, Beardsley and siad that he couldn't wait to play in Tuesday evening's Middlesex Senior Cup quarter final against Hampton and Richmond. However, he also stated that he realises that to oust the present strike partnership of Hammett and Paul who cannot stop scoring goals for league games would take time!

Yes Jermaine should not be allowed straight into the first he must earn his place in the team. I'd heard that as part of his World Cup peparation he'd wanted to learn what it was like to be a World Cup winner and that is why he came to see Rudi.

Seriously though. I was nice to see a premiership player coming along to watch a Town game. Did you see all the kids following him about ,and Beardsley of course.

Whats the matter with Beardo's teeth ? Does he have false hampsteads ?

As we all know,Beardsley lost his real teeth many years ago in freak hand-gliding incident.He currently sports a fine set of oak teeth,carved from the wooden leg of an ancient pirate.
