Every chance i would say! Made me chuckle when Soccer AM said we are expecting a sell out. Expect it will generate a few casuals but would be surprised if crowd more than a couple of hundred up on the average (I'll go for 2896!). Capacity is 4500! Will laugh if both don't play!!

When AFC played Slough on 27th August 2005 the gate was 1200, so with your lesser support I doubt it will be any greater.

Except that it's AFC Wimbledon vs Windsor & Eton, and not t'other way round!!

Windsor have already played AFC at Stag Meadow. I think the crowd was just over 1,000.

I was pleased to discover that the game against Redbridge wasn't made all ticket in the light of the recent media coverage - for some reason the bloke who answered the phone thought I was winding him up. How many did you get today?

If I were you guys I would try and get a discount! AFC charge more than anyone else in the league and they so call "segregate" you which in AFC rules mean away fans stay put behind the goal. You cannot lean against the fence as that is a "walk way". By walk way it means for the whole 90mins Wimbledon fans walk up and down buying chips and cofee and believe me they eat a lot of chips. Believe me I am not joking it is a continous stream of people walking backwards and forwards and I am surprised they didnt offer us peanuts or bananas because it certainly felt like you were in a zoo!!!!

How much is it to get into AFCW then, pretty poor show if it is more than other clubs. Just shows a lack of respect for other clubs and a certain level of arrogance if you start charging over and above everyone else just because they get bigger crowds.

Heard a rumour that they charged more for home fans than away fans at one time so that home fans could donate to the club to get it back on its feet. (is that true?)

They charge £9 which we didnt know until we got there, not that it would of stopped us going and I know its only £1 to £2 more than other clubs but its the principle of the thing especially when you spend the whole time trying to see through people.

To be fair, you could have found out the admission cost before you left - it's not kept secret, they've been charging that price since 2002. Whether you agree with the cost or the view is a different matter.

Yes your right I could of found out the price before I went, but then why would I expect them to charge more than the top wack of £8 at other clubs. My issue is more to do with the fact that we pay more and see less.

AFCW charged £8 until this season when it went up to £9. For some county cup games the price goes down. We don't put prices up simply because some visitors bring a large travelling support with them (unlike some teams who play us, see below). In the CCL we gave genuine supporters of visiting sides the chance to pre-buy tickets from their own club for the same price as their own club charged normally (eg Walton Casuals supporters paid £4 at home games and so paid £4 to visit us at Kingsmeadow - although they responded by doubling their admission charges when we visited them, inflated the costs of the programme and the bar and gave us an open trench to use as a gents lavatory. Nice people.... )
