Looks like it could be another case of 'if he's in the XVI tomorrow, the loan's been extended; if he isn't, it hasn't' again, just like it was at the Dagenham game.

Albeit from 5 years ago, my Southend contact is complementary and rates Mark as a quick and tricky player, however a frustrating one.

 

A type of player who is difficult to mark as not only the defender is unsure what he will do next, but often Mark is as well.

A type of player that never looks like he has the ball fully under control, but then pulls out a goal.

 

He reckons he will do us proud but is not a player that will relish long balls being played up to him at neck height.

 

Lets get behind him, and lets hope he is the perfect foil for Charlie.
