Liam signs Striker

Recommended Posts

ya it says:

Woking FC confirm that Mark Rawle has left the Club, having signed for Gravesend and Northfleet.

Mark joined Woking in the summer but was unable to cement a first team place. He was placed on the transfer list recently.

Woking FC wish Mark well in his future career.

We will have to wait and see!!!

Whilst it is obviously very good news that the club have bought in another striker, I am concerned that comments attributed to the Woking manager and published on BBC Teletext, suggests that "he had identified a disruptive element in the Woking dressing room and that as a result a player or players would be leaving the club"

I wish Mark Rawle well and look forward to him establishing himself in the team alongside Charlie MacDonald, but in the meantime lets hope that he is not the disruptive element referred to?

Well Charlie got a bad press from Crawley fans saying he only tried when he could be bothered, etc, so if he's only as 'bothered' as Charlie, I'll happily take it!

Are you ever going to say anything constructive? You clearly don't get any enjoyment in coming to watch Gravesend & Northfleet so don't come any more, I'll pay your money just [****!!****] off.

On the surface this has to be good news, if he had a falling out with Cockerill at Woking that should not matter a jot to us, providing of course he doesn't have a habit of indiscipline.

Wev'e all been screaming out for a partner for Charlie now let's give the guy a chance and see if he fits the bill.

TBH Luke must be first choice partner still. Im sure he'd be very upset if dropped after the Canvey game . . .

If Rawle has a bit of presence and strength about him I would put him straight in with Charlie. Luke Moore shows great promise and pace, but against Canvey he showd that he needs to pick up a bit of composure in from of goal. Likelihood is that against teams that are not as clearly inept as Canvey, we will end up sending long balls forward that will not stick with Luke and Charlie. I see Moore as a very handy sub against tiring defences at the moment IMHO

Interesting that if a player has a falling out at this club, it's Daish's fault, but if one of our signings has a falling out at his previous club, it's his fault, not the manager's!

I'm not pointing the finger at WVN there, as he didn't actually say that, but some people would!
