It's probably Darren Behcet - he's a West Ham keeper who was on loan at Cambridge United in the Conference recently but was sent back to Upton Park at the end of December. I guess that's pronounced Beckett or Bay-chay ?

Cheers Jeff I bet you are right with this one. Seems he was on work experience with Cambridge earlier this season and played 7 games and played for West Ham in the Youth Cup last year. He's quite a way down the pecking order at West Ham and is not listed in the 1st team squad while his understudy in last seasons youth team is listed (Matthew Reed). Behcet has just turned 19. "Jeff".,Thats the guys name. It is spelled the same way as a condition we have in our family, it is the same name as the Turkish doctor who discoverd it.It is pronounced as BehChet. KP also said there was a possibillity of another signing this afternoon.

Word is from Barry the Barber via Colin Page that the keepers name is "Darren Brevit" who had some games for Southend also last or this season. Colin has got names wrong before so who knows which one it is but thats whats been heards anyway. Maybe worth checkingout on Southends site.

O.K. Jeff. Point taken. My error,sorry. It was that I got that spelling from the Southend forum, though his spelling or Darren was with one "R" so he may be wrong in his spelling. Behcet it is then.

Any idea what may happen to Paul Egan i think the games he has played his performance has been good plenty of communication and a good kick, is this the end for him when, and if Charlie comes back.I dont think he has been given a fair bite of the cherry.

[color:"blue"]Paul looked OK at Slough match, but unlike Charlie is not a physical presence in the box (much like McMahon wasn't either). Most teams have a reserve 'keeper who's good enough 'in reserve', but not rated by the Management for more than the odd appearance. We had the same scenario with Nej last season ... OK for the bench, but not someone to rely on long term.
