Your drum!!!

Hello there,

BLIMEY!!!!!!!! Do you always bang your drum like that? Maybe you could sing at *least* 1 song with out it. Think our drummers showed you how it should be done.

Good luck for the rest of the season. Can't believe it finished 2-2 <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/argue.gif" alt="" />

Im not being biased but all the drums that we've HEARD have been crap. I mean other teams' supporters may be annoyed we have a few drums but at least we have the singers.

The thing is we dont claim to other fans that we are any good, we just have enthusiastic supporters that want to get behind our team and make as much noise as possible.

As you could probley tell from seeing us yesterday, we have a great laugh playing them even if we havent got the numbers of fans singing all the time.

We even threw in a conga for you boys.

OI!!! Thats OUR move tongue Well as long as you had fun (thats what its really about). If it was me (obviously we all have different opinions) then I'd rather try and get my team to HEAR our voices and not just a drum beat.

Our support was an absolute disgrace in terms of attendance. Very embarrasing to play a relatively local team and take less than 50 fans.

However, those who did go had a great time. Even though we didn't see a vintage Canvey performance, what we did see was a team play right up until the death with belief, and sure enough they battled their way to a point.

As for the Aldershot fans, they were very loud and expectedly so. However, their away support even though larger in number is nowhere near as vocal as ours. I went to Dagenham and Grays away and stood in the Shots end, the noise made was pitiful.

We had a fantastic night, and I'm sure the "lucky conga" will have to make a comeback! The coach home was excellent too, from the Aldershot "thugs" trying to start a fight with a huge vehicle to the Stalybridge game on the tele (singing along of course!)

All in all, even though our singing was probably drowned out we sang our hearts out, and when Sedgers scored it was worth every second!

Our support at Grays wasnt the best. It was rather hot (if you're talking about the league game) and was meant for a quiet afternoon due to the heat and people probably not wanting to get headaches (total [****!!****], I know!) (and I didnt goto the dagenham game so can't comment on that)

Well, we are trying to distance ourselves from the thugs and I wish they'd just p#ss off back to their caravans.

I couldn't actually believe that you guys equalised. Thats the first time in a while that when a team has scored that its been difficult to get everyone singing again. Pure disbelief! Well done to your players though.

It was the FA Trophy replay I went to see, the night the lights went out (again)! There was 5-6 fans singing, everyone else standing around. Shame you didn't win though, I was supporting you guys in both games!

We have the big one, the snare then a few smaller ones. (I think we should just have the big one and the snare because the others cant play along in time) I think it amounts to 6 drums in all.
