Ryman Fans Forum

Laz

Recommended Posts

I've casually observed the Isthmian Fans Forum over the past couple of weeks, Laz. The former Chairman of The Mighty Saints, when not making inaccurate postings on these boards, appears to have fallen out big-time with the various moderators on there, of whom Uncle Urchin appears to be one. He is not the most popular figure in the Ryman League, it would seem.

Anyway. After several mega-giga bytes of his rubbish had to be deleted, I gather that he set up his own 'Istmian Forum' at roughly the same time the 'original' Isthmian Fans Forum was changing servers or whatever these people do. There was confusion for a couple of days when the various contributors weren't sure which was which. Understandably.

It would seeem that a couple of contributions to Hardings Forum by Uncle Urchin were deleted yesterday, and as you say, it has got a bit tasty.

For those who aren't aware, most of the contributions by 'Anonymous' are from Iron Webbo. It brings back memories of the Duchess of Kirkcaldy' and his multitude of pseudonyms on here of a few years ago.

The residential re-development of Cressing Road will be an interesting story to unfold over the comong months. A salutary lesson, I suspect.

Hi Laz.

As you know, I can't do hand things:

I believe that Uncle Urchin is a Moderator along with some Wealdstone people on the real Isthmian board.

The displaying of IP addresses was soemthing done by UU at the end of each day when Iron Webbo went through a phase of asking a question as a Billericay supporter, and answering as a Chelmsford fan. Just for fun, presumably. It's one thing pretending to be different fans of those two clubs but it really kicks off when someone pretends to be fans of both Wealdstone and Edgeware. No love lost there, for some reason.

The number of postings with the same number was really quite pathetic, actually.

Ah, it's all clever behind the scenes stuff that Ian_W has put in, AFF. If it detects the magic letters 'http://www.' followed by .com or whatever it automatically converts the whole string to a 'hand thing', like this: http://www.freemoneyhere.com

If you want to do it manually, click on URL (down below next to Graemlins, then paste your link into the box and press OK. Then give it a name and press OK again. Simple, really.
