Aldershot Sign Defender

They have signed defender Gary Elphick on loan from Brighton, according to their forum he is cleared to play tomorrow.

Elphick was on loan at St Albans last season and did very well for them.

 

See Shots have also signed Leroy Griffifhs from Fisher until the end of the season.

Might be a daft question, but why don't any players from league clubs want to come to Canvey on loan?

Who says they don't? If anything, it's probably because they would prefer to stick with a full-time outfit.

 

Saying that though, there are two transfer listed Midfielders at Barnet I'd be interested in.

That's the thing with transfers at this level, you're never actually too sure if the players are any good unless you've seen the players play a few times.

We had Greg Pearson (West Ham) and Kevin Braniff (Millwall) on loan last season.

Ive seen Braniff play at millwall but i did not see him at the lane. He is not a first team regular at millwall and he is not very good. But i dont think there is that much of a difference between conference and league teams. Apart from the support and grounds.

Speaking to a Millwall fan the other day and he really didn't rate Braniff at all.

 

Said some positive things about Joe Dolan though.
