Saturday's Game

Not been to many games this year but I would like to say a big well done to the players and management. The players gave 100%, they worked hard, they showed class and ability and most of all they showed that they cared about what was going on. A couple of the players fell to their knees at the end genuinely gutted byt he result.

If we can play like that to the end of the season we WILL stay up.

Killer blow at the end, but that happens, and that is not one of the games we have to win. ther will be more important games to win, like this Saturday's for example. On that matter a couple of points:

First, i hope we don't think Saturday will be easy of the Staines match, it is too easy to get over confident just because we are playing the only team below us and we played well in our last game.

Secondly, I hope the fans don't expect as cultured a game. staines allowed us to play good football by playing good football themselves. the game was very good to watch with both sides playing the ball around, Saturday's game could be a lot more, how shall I put it, physical and competitive.

Anyway, a win Saturday and we are on our way

PS, Geggy, can I my daughter's ball back Saturday as I shall be making the treck to the Stadio du Stag for the big game of the season.

Agree 99%. Redbridge lost 1 nil to Braintree so perhaps they are not going to be the pushovers we hope them to be.

 

However we can't just beat the teams around us now. We've dropped to many points we need to pick up a few results like the worthing one and the one we so nearly got at Staines.
