He started off by saying it was a poor & scrappy game and then at the end of the report he says it was entertaining.??? Which was it? Who was the number 8 he was referring to & who was our player who he says pushed their player in the face?

As confirmed with SSS yesterday,informed that AC has gone to Heybridge Swifts,Scott Forbes joins us from Bishops Stortford (and was Southend's player of the year four years ago)and we should have a new central defender for this saturday.

There were a few handbags flying around.

 

After Greg was badly fouled, i think it was Hillaire who sought retribution on their player and was a bit lucky to stay on pitch.It was about a 10 man brawl however. He went into hiding and the ref chased around trying to find him to book him, which was itself quite amusing

 

Standen did raise his hands in a later incident,which was stupid, but luckily the ref; did not try and even things out.Standen only brushed the player away and did not do much wrong really ,though Ian was 'rather more forceful' !!!!

 

Towards end of first half, Braley was also involved in a bit of an incident-pushing and raising arms and was lucky to avoid a booking, and on a bad day coud have seen a red
