It both is & isnt the same cookie. Notice I havent said the same this season. Either I'm not tempting fate or as you say, I have no mortgage left to offer.l.o.l.(didnt have one to start with anyway)Seriously though I AM going to make a prediction,a serious one in that we get a draw today,possibly 1-1.

Judging by their old video clips they have a good long thrower in their side.Throws that are just as good as corner kicks so we will have to be good in the air especially today at the back. Those long throws tend to find us out,amongst other things of course.

I think we are reaching a stage where the attack as a potent force is coming together at last. The defence is worrying and will continue to do so till there are quality defenders like some of the front boys. They will score but i think we will too. Need some one else atr the back to steady things and i think we will get this in due course. lots of goals from nwo for a while and no 0-0 . When we have aquality defender or two we will be fine. I see astrong finish to the season like in CK's first season. Might struggle till then and lets face it we cant go third from bottom for at least five weeks and by then i see a very diffeeent gate playing like they used too with only pickings for opposition. Could well go down today but still think the future is bright. Once we are fourth bottom i think the only way will be up. CK traditionally (save last year) has stong last thirds of the season. mark my words! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Having read other posts Geoff it seems I am not the ONLY one to not be able to predict correctly so its not just me after all.I agree with you that we can finish the season off strongly but lets face it ANY improvement will see a stronger finish wont it?.Last week I hope, continues into this week,by way of sustained attack I mean and not the diabolical defending.Have a good day out if you are going.

Our long thrower is Andy Ballard and yes, he does have a long throw in but, to date, they have been totally ineffective. They either go into the goalies arms or a defensive header clears the ball when the ball is aimed at one of our small men on the near post!

Defensive headers eh? Yeah,right.

Do we have any defenders though that can attack a cross,be positive and head it out.You stick them in there and see how well you do. I am just hoping that some of the players are reading this and come up trumps today instead.

Most of our goals are conceded from dead ball kicks... statues etc.
