Get down to Southend - past the old Gasworks pier, and look for the Halfway House P/H - there's nine snow bunting on the foreshore - best to catch them when the tide's in. Then check out the dunlin flock and there's a purple sandpiper among them.

 

En route, call in at Tesco at Pitsea - 31 waxwing - if not there, try the car park (go along the road parallel to the A13, past LiDLs and take the next left, turn into the large car park, and they are often in the trees on the left.

 

Just to keep a HFC connection, you can also check out the urchins on the foreshore.

will go to wat tyler co park at some point,there are usually waxwings there
