In this weeks reporter...

Was some interesting stuff in there this week. Quite surprised that on the back it says something about a rumour that we want Hessentahler as manager. Where'd they get that from? But apparently we have been in contact about making him a player, so watch that space I spose.

Also quite a bit about the criticism on Daish mentioned. The 'Internet forum' got a few mentions lol. But one of the most sensible things in there was in Paul Parkers bit (yeh strange innit? ). He said something like 'Those gravesend fans calling for the managers head should take a look at the league table.' Also check out Ed's column, best in there

Careful kmj, they still sponser us and most of the "the increasing dross that passes for journalism" is written by our old mate Chas, who as we all agree is a top bloke and all round good egg.

Also, what people are seeming to forget including Mr Parker is that, yes we are 10th but our crowds are dropping and the club is losing money because of that hand over foot.

The fans can decide whether they turn up or not and at the moment they are increasingly NOT.

The lack of entertainment value and the lack of continuity of the team (owing to the constant arrival of loan players)is outwieghing our mid table position with regard to what attracts people - FACT

It's Daish's team and his tactics which have put us where we are at the moment and people don't like it.

You also have to doubt his motivational skills when we keep getting knocked out of cups by minnow teams. In the games against the big teams the players motivate themselves.

Just don't mention his belief that Southport are the 'Sandhoppers'.

But if we stay in 10th, regardless of entertainment value or how fortunate we've been in certain games, Liam's critics (including myself on certain issues) will have to accept he's largely done a good job.
